Ideas Generation - The mind map

I find that one of the most useful ways of creating ideas is using a mind map. A mind map (or spider diagram, brainstorm) is a tree of ideas that usually stems from a single word or sentence.

This mind map is in colour and has sketches which in my eyes would waste time that could be used creating better ideas.
